Fingerprinting for Florida Public School Contractor badges Hernando County

There have been some changes with the process of fingerprinting for Vendor/Contractor badges for the Hernando County School District. Fingerprinting will now be outsourced at The UPS store, 4142 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL. To be fingerprinted as a vendor/contractor you will contact Beverly Drew at the Hernando School District's Safe Schools Dept, 352-797-7233. You will be supplied two forms. The first form is the Hernando County Fingerprinting form. You will complete this, and bring this page with you to UPS. You do not need an appointment. UPS office hours are Mon-Fri 9-7 and Saturdays 9-5. The price for fingerprinting is $82.55 and UPS will take payment at the time of fingerprinting. You can only get fingerprinted if you have the Hernando County Fingerprinting form with you and completed as well as your license or ID.

Once you have been fingerprinted by UPS, you will complete the Hernando County School District Vendor/Contractor Information Form with all employees that have been fingerprinted and email it to Beverly Drew at Drew_b@hcsb.k12.fl.us. When your background has been received by our office we will review it and contact your employer to schedule an appointment. At your appointment we will get your picture and print out your badges. There is a fee of $10 exact cash or check for the state badge. State badges last 5 years and Hernando County badges expire every year on June 30th.
